Vice President, Sales Business Operations

Barstool Sports is looking for a Vice President of Sales Operations to join our Sales team. This role will be a highly visible, strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, and provide support and thought leadership internally as the team continues to grow. The ideal candidate is a business-savvy Sales Ops leader with a track record of improving sales productivity and driving business improvement initiatives. Experience in digital media is required.
You must be familiar with Barstool & our many different franchises.

What You'll Do

  • Structure and evaluate the existing client list amongst the Sales Directors, taking care to motivate high performing teams; design and implement actionable recommendations, and own the transition process for any adjustments to be made
  • Partner with and serve as a peer to the Senior Director, FP&A Ad Sales to improve the sales commission and incentive program each year; set and execute on the company’s sales and operations OKRs.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations for process & procedure improvements
  • Partner with the Head of Sales Pricing and Planning on a strategy for remnant inventory
  • Execute on the development and continuous improvement of current and future product offerings
  • Lead presentations to executive leadership on key sales operations priorities & new initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing and Client Solutions teams to ensure best-in-class support to the Sales leads and Account Executives
  • Assist with ad hoc queries and provide analytical support to our fast-growing business as it evolves

What You Have

  • 8+ years of experience working in a Sales/Revenue Operations role
  • Strong understanding of Digital Media / Publisher
  • Solutions-oriented mentality with a desire to dig in & make powerful recommendations for process, procedure, and policy improvements
  • Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work toward long-term goals while delivering short-term wins
