VIP Experience Manager - Barstool

Overview

The candidate is responsible for the strategic oversight of Barstool Branded VIP engagement and special projects for Penn Interactive and Barstool Sports. The candidate is also responsible for assisting the development, maintenance and growth of new and existing customers through the coordination of these special projects while maintaining strict compliance to the Barstool Brand Guidelines and voice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with strategic integration and ideation of VIP client experiences at Barstool Sports Live Events as directed by Barstool senior leadership.
  • Assist Barstool Sports Leadership and Sr. Director of VIP Engagement in the management of Barstool Sports calendar and VIP guest integration.
  • Oversee the management of the PIV VIP Engagement event calendar and other cross marketing opportunities with outside sales, properties, and partnerships
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Work with Barstool Sports Merchandising team to develop and execute on strategic Barstool branded VIP gifting opportunities for PIV and Penn Gaming.
  • Acquisition of VIP segements through creation of compelling VIP experiences.
  • Provide, develop, and focus on the acquisition of VIP segments within the external markets
  • Cultivate and develop groups with potential gaming profiles, assuring continued growth of the customer database.
  • Understand and monitor department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to ensure proper supervision of department.
  • Manage and track the costs of all merch offers for VIP clients
  • Source, manage, book tickets, and transportation for customers attending the events/games/outings.  Manage all receipts and P&L impact with Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Ability to attend events and engagement functions as needed.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years gaming experience. Casino marketing experience is a plus.  College degree preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Positively affects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all business conditions
  • Ability to review and comprehend player tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external contacts and all levels of employees.
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including player-tracking system, computer keyboard, and telephone.
  • Ability to be flexible in work hours, and respond on short notice.
  • Knowledge of computers, word and excel programs and quantitative analysis skills helpful.
  • Knowledge of special events and entertainment related activities helpful.
  • Knowledge of outside sales and CRM programs helpful.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written direction.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment and tact.
  • Strong understanding of gaming industry helpful.
  • Available to travel to properties for meetings and training
Other Considerations
  • The primary office location for this position will be located in New York City (Barstool HQ) 50% of the time and 50% of the time in Philly / Remote (PIV HQ)
  • This position is expected to travel 30% of the time
