Gipper is in search for a Product Marketing Manager that's ready to take their passion for the customer experience to help Gipper launch key messaging, content and go-to-market strategies.
In this role, you will directly connect the voice of the customer with sales, product, creative and other stakeholders. Dive deep into the competitive landscape, developing compelling product positioning to clearly articulate market needs and the unique value that Gipper provides to more than 2,000 athletic teams and schools (high-school & collegiate), across the US.
What You'll Accomplish:
  • Developing key marketing content, messaging & positioning strategy through voice of the customer. Including case studies, landing pages, email marketing, testimonials, blogs and more.
  • Gather insights and analyze markets, competitors and customer needs to support GTM strategy, product messaging, launch, demand, adoption and retention.
  • Create sales enablement materials and training along with key processes and tools for launch, cross-sell and upsell, and account management.
  • Impact the UX of our free trial experience. Developing strategy to drive a user from trial to purchase.
  • Serving as a liaison between the marketing, product & sales teams to ensure that marketing promotions and plans align with product release roadmaps for both new and major releases.
  • Conducting competitor analysis to better understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of our brands and products.
  • Constantly working to improve messaging and marketing content through well-planned A/B tests.
  • Understanding and influencing the marketing metrics that drive Gipper's growth & success.
 
About You:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a B2B product or content marketing role.
  • You love diving into the customers experience.
  • Must have demonstrable experience writing compelling and effective marketing and instructional content for multiple technical products; samples will be requested.
  • Hands on experience with developing AND executing product based marketing strategy, competitive intel and email marketing.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic; incredibly high standards for your own work.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, self-manage, and work independently, managing several tight deadlines at once.
  • Outstanding ability to learn quickly and execute swiftly and accurately in a fast-paced, technology-based environment.
  • LOVE sports. You are passionate and knowledgeable about youth, high school & collegiate athletics
