Position Overview
​​Workshop Digital’s VP of Growth, will be instrumental in growing revenue through new business development. This position is responsible for developing strategic goals, leading sales hiring efforts, managing and developing a team, building and maintaining client relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Vice President of Growth will have an opportunity to build and own a client portfolio while working directly with the CEO & leadership team to increase efficiency, sales opportunities and maximize close rates.
About You
  • 6+ years business development experience in Advertising, Digital Marketing, or AdTech industry
  • Proven success in generating revenue and managing accounts
  • Healthy sense of urgency with the ability to think long-term
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical, organized, and ruthless at prioritizing
  • Understands the value of service and the ability to evaluate client needs
  • Experience managing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Experience building and developing a team
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional internal departments to contribute to new business
  • Deal with pressure; remain optimistic and persistent, even under adversity. Stay with a problem-solving line of thinking until a solution is reached or no longer reasonably attainable
  • Knowledge of CRM software packages and sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of other post-secondary education
What You’ll Do
  • Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the execution of both new and existing sales for turning clients’ ideas into digital marketing solutions.
  • Build and train the sales team in all aspects of the sales from inbound/outbound lead generation to qualified leads by conducting a qualification/needs analysis conversation with prospects. 
  • Presenting, creating SOW’s with support from client delivery leaders to negotiating agency fees and closing business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, closed-loop reporting and inbound marketing campaign creation. 
  • Partner with client services managers to develop and deliver prospect audits, pitch presentation development, and to ensure proper pricing for the work to be performed.
  • Work with client service team members to identify upsell opportunities.
  • Attend networking events and conferences on behalf of Workshop Digital to grow industry knowledge and new prospects.
